The largest CRM platform in the market and the most configurable thing on this list. An insurance agency can build almost anything on it, which is exactly the cost: everything insurance-specific is something you or a partner build.
What it costs
Free Suite $0, Starter Suite $25, Pro Suite $100, Core $195, Advanced $395 and Max $550 per user per month. Everything above Starter is annual billing only, and Max requires contacting sales. Financial Services Cloud, the insurance-oriented edition, is not priced on the Sales Cloud page.
Trial and access: 30-day free trial with self-serve signup on most editions; the top edition is sales-led.

- Enormous partner, integration and developer ecosystem, including insurance-specific solutions.
- Trailhead is free, structured, certificated training and among the best in the software industry.
- Published per-seat pricing across most editions, including a free tier and a low Starter tier.
Where it falls short
- The most expensive per-seat pricing here once you pass Starter, before any implementation cost.
- Sales Cloud has no native insurance model; policies and commissions are custom objects or a partner package.
- Realistically needs an administrator or a consulting partner to run well.
- Financial Services Cloud, the insurance-shaped edition, is quoted separately.
